  • Does school offer any tuition discounts or scholarships?

    Although we do not have a scholarship program available, at U.S. Ling Institute we offer tuition discount to our students: • Students can receive a discount of Academic Progress for having 90% and above Grade & Attendance • Students can receive a discount for referring a student who enrolls for one full semester at U.S. Ling Institute. To receive this discount the student in their application indicates your name as how they learned of our school.

  • Do you have health insurance policy?

    There are several affordable low-cost health insurance programs available to international students. For more details and better understanding of health coverages and costs, visit https://www.usling.edu/insurance.   • Can I change my non-immigrant status after entering the US on a previously granted non-student visa?

  • Can I pay my tuition in installments?

    Students are eligible to pay their tuition in one, two, three installments, and there is no installment setup fee. If paid in more than three installments, there is a $50 charge fee.

  • What housing options are available to me?

    Yes. You can rent an apartment or a private room, without being required to have a credit history or even proof of income in the US. Our Housing Coordinator has established contacts with several apartment complexes near the school where you can easily find comfortable housing accomodations. U.S. Ling Institute will assist you in your housing needs, and there are several options available. For example, you may choose to share an apartment with a roommate or rent your own private apartment.   • Can I work?

    During a student’s enrollment at U.S Ling Institute, he or she may apply to work on-campus. This, however, does not guarantee the student a position with the school. Positions are limited, and the student must be approved and authorized before they can work. The student is typically only employed for one academic semester and the work is temporary in nature. Terminated, Completed, Canceled, Initial, or Deactivated students are ineligible to apply for on-campus employment at U.S. Ling Institute. If while working on-campus, a student transfers, is terminated, is placed on probation, or completes their program, they must immediately stop their employment at the school. On-campus employment cannot exceed more than 20 hour per week while school is in session.   • Can I obtain a driver’s license in Utah?

    Yes, it’s easy. You just need your active I-20 and 2 forms of picture ID; for example, your passport or your student ID from U.S. Ling Institute. You can also drive in America for about 6 months if you have an international driver license from your country.

TOEFL Test Preparation

Our TOEFL Preparation Program focuses on the comprehensive and hands-on practice of skills and application of test-taking strategies necessary for successful achievement of desired TOEFL scores. Students will learn techniques and strategies to maximize their chances of scoring well and continuing their studied in American colleges and universities.
